Building on the lecture at the American Guild of Organists, Western Division Conference (image below), Eileen conducted a small group session for the San Diego chapter on September 14 to explore the proper relationship of the head-neck-back–or "to wear the head properly." The small group allowed for one-on-one relations to point out issues and ways to correct them.

In the image to the left Eileen demonstrates how a easy exhale along with a release up can be an antidote to performance anxiety and also be used to help you be present and connected anytime you're communicating with people - even when just shaking hands.
Eileen has taught workshops at the Los Angeles Flute Guild's annual Flute Fest in 2014 and 2015. She teaches flutists how to play without aches and pains and how to improve their skill level by having a freer use of their body and hands and respiratory system.

The second week was full of private lessons and day-long workshops for the public in Tokyo at the Body Chance Alexander teacher training school.
